MEET THE REST OF THE TEAM | Liz Halliday
Al and Liz have been together since April 2007 and married in November 2010. Having been a valued member of the Police force for six years, Al is currently on a career break in order to fully devote his time to Chailey Stud, looking after all the yard’s maintenance duties as well as the general upkeep and attention that a large facility requires. He has an incredible eye for detail and is skilled in many areas of property maintenance and development. Al therefore plays a major role in maintaining Chailey Stud’s standards to the highest levels.
Head Groom Gemma joined us in September 2012 and, having come from an Eventing background, has proved to be a great leader and an invaluable member of the team. Energetic and hard working with great riding skills, her dedication and attention to detail ensures that the yard runs like clockwork and all of the horses are cared for to the very highest standards.
At 18 Laura is the youngest member of the Chailey Stud team and has a work ethic and common sense that much precede her years. Hard working and enthusiastic, she has a bubbly personality and has proven to be a valuable member of staff. Alongside work Laura is studying for her BHS exams and competes in BSJA and BE on her own horse, Steps.
